Tripee Taxi Service is committed to transparent and fair booking practices. We understand that travel plans may change, and we aim to handle cancellations and refund requests in a simple, accountable manner.
Booking Amount Refund Rule
Booking amount will be refunded only if the driver cancels the booking. In such cases, the customer will receive a refund for the amount paid for that booking, subject to the payment method used and the processing time of the payment gateway.
When a refund may apply
- The assigned driver cancels the ride before pickup.
- The trip cannot be completed due to a driver-related service failure on our side.
- We determine that the booking was not honored because of a service disruption caused by the driver or operator.
When a refund will not apply
- The customer cancels the booking voluntarily without any driver-side service failure.
- The customer does not show up at the pickup location.
- The trip is completed or partially used as per the agreed booking terms.
- The cancellation happens after the vehicle has already reached the pickup point and the customer has chosen to cancel the ride.
Refund processing
Once a valid refund is approved, the amount will be returned to the original payment method. The time taken for the refund to reflect in the customer account depends on the bank, wallet provider, or payment gateway involved.
Customer support
If you believe your trip was canceled by the driver or your booking was not honored, please contact our support team with your booking reference and date of travel. We will review the request and process a refund if the case qualifies under this policy.
